(Big League Politics) – Tucker Carlson had former National Security Adviser General Michael Flynn join his show Friday to discuss the recent inditement against former Trump administration advisor Steve Bannon. The former Trump advisor was indicted by Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice, a move widely considered to be a vicious act of political punishment, much like the moves by the Democrat and Liz Cheney-run January 6th commission which resulted in the subpoena of General Flynn.
Carlson began the show explaining that the DOJ has now levied a charge against Bannon for “contempt of a congress,” a charge that no American has been charged with for nearly 40 years.
“The DOJ is now the enforcement arm of the Democratic Party, punishing anyone who doesn’t comply with the demands of Nancy Pelosi and Liz Cheney’s January 6th commission,” Tucker said bluntly.
General Flynn then appeared on the show, with Tucker pointing out that Flynn much like Bannon has also been a target of political persecution, with the former National Security Adviser facing a subpoena by the January 6th committee.

The general took a serious tone, saying that the indictment and charges levied against Bannon “show the speed in which the Democratic party is moving to confirm their complete takeover of this country.”
“We can’t kid ourselves about this Tucker, that’s the direction they’re moving,” he banally concluded.
The two exchanged a few more ideas before the discussions got more broad, with Flynn saying that the current track of events is unsustainable, pointing out that a large portion of Americans largely do not believe that the United States government hosts free and fair elections.
General Flynn concluded the segment with a bit of anti-establishment sentiment, explaining that he worries more now about corrupted Republicans than Democrats as crookedness from the left is already a given. The general indicated the right suffers from a severe lack of leadership that the American people badly want to see.
“I’ve stopped… worrying about the Democratic Party because I kind of know what their plan is… it’s really this Republican establishment and their… ‘leaders’… [The American people] are looking for leadership out of the Republican party… and they’re not doing it… they need to step up because this is not going to and anytime soon and they’re going to continue to chip away at all of our rights however they can.”
